ahh, yes, routine! john sleeps in the basement because he wakes up too doggone early to share a room with luke. they are both early risers. usually i can't hear his sounds unless he is just pissed off...so i can buy a few more minutes when he is in the basement. i can imagine belle reading sweetly in her room- but i still like to think of her dressing up in her 2t tinkerbelle costume traipsing around the house...

I saw what you wrote on FB about LL loving that song, and now I can't get it out of my head!! I was singing it last night and moving Alaina's arms and legs so she was "dancing" along, and she was loving it! It is a very catchy song :)

The best way to get kids excited about yearbooks again is to make them appeal to their aesthetics and their interests. In their free time kids rarely sit down with a book these days, rather they're on the web chatting with friends on facebook or twitter.

At my school we decided to start publishing digital yearbooks instead of traditional print yearbooks. Hoping to boost enthusiasm for the annual yearbook, while also saving a bunch of money on production and printing costs. We bought a program called yearbook alive (yearbookalive.com) and built a digital yearbook that has thousands of photos and hours of video. The design is pretty slick and the kids seem to really love it.

Good luck with your endeavor, yearbook committee can be quite an adventure!

Hey! It is just like my good friend from last summer... Mr. Giant Bee! http://halfmyheart.wordpress.com/2008/05/22/g-is-for-giant-bee/
...and yes, I believe he was much, much bigger than the picture leads on.

So glad that you all are okay... bee stings are no fun (and I am very allergic, blah)
